Le petit éléphant
Concept development, naming, branding, illustration, and packaging design for a children’s fragrance.
Client: Ainea Perfums x Druni

Brief: To create a new kids’ fragrance concept for Druni by Ainea Perfums. The project involved naming, character creation, brand identity, illustration, and packaging design for the launch of the eau de toilette. The scent is gentle and comforting, with notes of rose, peach, peony, bergamot, cashmere, musk, and talc.
Approach: The concept centers on a cheerful little elephant with its trunk raised—a symbol of good luck in many cultures—holding a flower to represent the connection between nature and the fragrance’s floral essence. Beyond its visual charm, the elephant was chosen for its rich symbolic meaning: elephants represent luck, prosperity, wisdom, vitality, and the strength to overcome obstacles—qualities that resonate deeply with the spirit of childhood. This connection adds emotional depth to the concept, making Le Petit Éléphant not just a fragrance, but a companion in a child’s daily life. To reflect the softness of the scent, a pastel color palette was used throughout, combined with handmade watercolor illustrations and a playful, brush-style typography that echoes the lighthearted spirit of the character. The packaging features a typographic texture using the onomatopoeia “Brrrroa!”—the sound of the elephant’s trumpet—adding a fun and sensory layer to the brand identity. The project also explores an extended brand universe, imagining a line of complementary items including a toy based on the character, a storybook, an adventure diary, stickers, and a conceptual personal care range—shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body milk—envisioning a flexible system capable of growing into a complete and immersive children's brand.
